Penn football’s (3-4, 1-3 Ivy) 45-17 dominant victory over Brown (2-5, 1-3) was a joy to watch. But, we should also be careful not to overreact to a blowout of a Bears team that has allowed 40+ points for five out of seven contests this season.

Penn was defeated 2-1 by in-state rival Penn State in a hard-fought match. The Quakers will have a chance to rebound from the loss and move to 3-1 in a few days, as they stay at Rhodes Field for Monday’s match.

On April 19, M. Grace Calhoun will vacate her position as Penn's director of athletics and recreation to assume the role of vice president of athletics and recreation at Brown University. Calhoun graduated magna cum laude from Brown in 1992, where she competed as a varsity track and field athlete.
