UC system releases statement condemning anti-Semitism

The University of California Board of Regents released a statement last Thursday condemning anti-Semitism on its campuses. The statement was released in light of recent anti-Semitic events on UC campuses and the rise in a push for Israel boycotts, primarily in the form of the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions or B.D.S. movement.

Penn files brief in opposition to graduate student labor unions

Penn joined eight other universities on Monday in filing an amicus brief encouraging the National Labor Relations Board not to overturn its 2004 decision. The decision ruled that universities do not need to recognize graduate student labor unions, according to Harvard Magazine.
