Two Penn cross country members head to Nationals

This Saturday, freshman Cleo Whiting and sophomore Thomas Awad will travel to Terre Haute, Ind., where they will both compete in the NCAA National Cross Country Championships. Indiana State’s LaVern Gibson Championship Course will play host this weekend to not only the nation’s best cross country teams, but also the fastest individual runners in the country.

Penn squash teams ready to kick off seasons with different mindsets

Ranked 14th in the nation and slotted to finish seventh in the Ivy League this season, the men’s team will start its season Saturday afternoon against an 11th ranked Williams squad. Ranked third nationwide in the preseason and predicted to finish second in the Ancient Eight, the women are trying to show that they have what it takes to bring home an Ivy title.
