Smokey Joe’s, Cavanaugh’s Restaurant and Sports Bar (shown in 1998), Beijing Restaurant and Penn Campus Hair Salon have been staples on campus for over 20 years each. Smoke’s has been owned by the same family since 1952, Cavanaugh’s since 1934 and Beijing since 1988. Penn Campus Hair Salon has been on campus since 1916.
