Government funding cuts have been on the forefront of everyone’s minds, and they’ve burst through that thick Penn bubble. The impacts have been felt among many, including Devlab, a wide-ranging lab that spans across the social sciences, and the Earth and Environmental Science department. As Elon Musk’s pet project the Department of Government Efficiency tears through funding, the status of important environmental research is increasingly precarious during our dire climate crisis.
