International Student and Scholar Services had previously announced that changes to “at least three” students’ immigration statuses were initiated by the Department of State. The revocations come as 1968 Wharton graduate and President Donald Trump's administration has revoked over 1,500 student visas nation-wide. Faculty members have previously criticized the University’s lack of communication and have urged Penn's leadership to take a stronger stance on the issue.
SENIOR COLUMNIST ANANYA SHAH argues that investing in student-athletes is essential to building campus spirit and staying competitive in Division I sports.

Government funding cuts have been on the forefront of everyone’s minds, and they’ve burst through that thick Penn bubble. The impacts have been felt among many, including Devlab, a wide-ranging lab that spans across the social sciences, and the Earth and Environmental Science department. As Elon Musk’s pet project the Department of Government Efficiency tears through funding, the status of important environmental research is increasingly precarious during our dire climate crisis.
