Over 1 million people attended the Super Bowl LIX victory parade for the Philadelphia Eagles on Feb. 14. Fans traveled from all over the country and the globe, withstanding freezing temperatures and congested streets for a glimpse of their winning team. Photographers from The Daily Pennsylvanian spread out across the parade route, capturing the crowds of supportive fans and their athletic heroes as the city celebrated its second-ever Super Bowl win.
Eagles fans woke up bright and early to claim their spots along the parade route. As they waited for the parade to begin, supporters shouted chants, sang the Eagles fight song, and waved flags.
The parade began at 11 a.m., traveling down Broad Street. After reaching City Hall, the Eagles went up Benjamin Franklin Parkway until they finally reached the steps of the Philadelphia Museum of Art.
