The Daily Pennsylvanian obtained exclusive voice memos and messages regarding 2020 Engineering graduate Luigi Mangione's fraternity experiences while at Penn, and Pa. Governor Josh Shapiro claimed Penn “lost its way” during last year’s Gaza Solidarity Encampment in a conversation with American Jewish Committee CEO Ted Deutch.

The email came after President and 1968 Wharton Graduate Donald Trump’s administration moved to freeze communications from U.S. health agencies — including the National Institutes of Health —through at least the end of the month.
“Please know that we are working with our academic and government relations colleagues to understand and respond to the potential impact of these events,” Epstein wrote. “We are working closely with your department chairs and institute/center directors, and we remain focused on our strategic priorities.”
