Greek Lady — a mainstay of Penn's food scene — was shut down due to several health code violations, according to a sign posted on its door on Wednesday.
The restaurant faces five repeat violations — including lack of proper sanitation and date-marking of food — and 14 first-time violations. The report also says the establishment does not have a valid food license.
It is unclear when Greek Lady will reopen, but the notice on the door says it will remain closed for two days.
In 2018, the DP reported a 50% increase in the amount of people vaccinated at Penn's three-day flu clinic, which was offered for free for the first time. This year's flu clinic is currently ongoing — and still free.
