Today is Fiji Day — not the frat, the country. But give some love to your favorite frat bro anyway. 

A School of Nursing professor was appointed to a Pennsylvania Department of Health maternal health committee, and the School of Dental Medicine recently partnered with a university in Turkey. 

But first, those who donate to Penn Hillel can now also be recognized as donors to the University based on an agreement established this past summer.

University alters donation process to Penn Hillel

Under a new agreement established this past summer, donors who make unrestricted contributions to Penn Hillel can now choose to receive recognition as a University donor. 

As a result of the change, donors who wish to contribute to Hillel can make them directly through Penn's official donation website. Additionally, those who opt in can receive special donor recognitions from the University — such as membership statuses.

  1997 College graduate and Rep. Josh Gottheimer (D-N.J.) sent a letter to Interim Penn President Larry Jameson and eight other university presidents, asking them to "publicly outline" their plans to protect Jewish students.

In 2018, the DP reported on 1997 College graduate and Rep. Josh Gottheimer (D-N.J.) and his bid for re-election after toppling a seven-term Republican incumbent. Gottheimer recently sent a letter to Penn's and eight other university presidents, requesting they make public plans to protect Jewish students on campus.
