Good morning, Penn!

Welcome back to Quaker Nation! This week, Penn lacrosse saw both its men's and women's teams' undefeated Ivy League seasons come to an end, and the DP talked to some current Penn athletes with fun nicknames. But first, let's dive into the person who will be succeeding Penn wrestling coach Roger Reina at the end of the next season.

More from DP Sports:

  2. Many athletes have fun nicknames — here's a look at some of the most iconic ones belonging to Penn athletes.
  3. Penn track and field has consistently produced elite throwing talents, and the close-knit unit has become the hidden backbone for the team.
  4. Penn baseball was swept for the first time since February of 2023, in its Ivy League series against Columbia.
Player of the week:
Penn women's golf sophomore Julie Shin picked up individual medalist honors in a field of 83 golfers, as she led the team to the program's 17th-ever tournament title at the Dolores Black Falcon Invitational that featured 11 other teams.
