Inside the Biden family's relationship with Penn

Email and text messages examined by the DP reveal that Biden apparently consulted then-President Amy Gutmann and then-Dean of Admissions Eric Furda about the status of one of his granddaughter's applications to the University. 

Elite admission experts assessed the relationship between Biden and Penn as one high-profile example of the many channels that top universities keep open with well-connected individuals, creating a pattern of preferential treatment in the application process.

  New documents in the research misconduct investigation of a former Penn Med professor show that an investigation committee described him as "reckless" and demonstrating "a blatant disregard" for accepted research practices.

  The Herbert D. Katz Center for Advanced Judaic Studies hosted a two-day conference on the development of Jewish scholarship in Arab and Islamic countries and its connection to contemporary scholars.

This week, Penn Reproductive Justice held its inaugural conference, focusing on various facets of reproductive health and activism.
