Good morning, Penn!

Welcome back to Quaker Nation! Penn basketball had a full slate of games over the weekend, and Penn football has a new offensive coordinator. But first, let's take a look at the new NIL initiative that has the chance to transform all of Penn sports.

More from DP Sports:

  1. In back-to-back home games, women's basketball split its matchups with Brown and Yale, gaining ground on the Bears in the chase for Ivy Madness.
  2. Men's basketball continued its struggles in the Ivy table, dropping road games at Brown and Yale and sliding to 1-5 in the Ancient Eight.
  3. After enjoying historic success as head coach at Johns Hopkins, a new football offensive coordinator joins the Quakers with a standard to uphold and a team to lead.
Player of the week:
Last spring, track and field senior Liv Morganti broke the track and field program record in the 3,000 meter steeplechase. On Saturday, Morganti decided one record was not enough, breaking the indoor mile record with a blazing 4:40.21 and cementing herself as one of Penn's best runners of all time.
