As advanced course registration for fall 2023 begins on March 20, The Daily Pennsylvanian compiled all of the classes that "double count" for more than one general education requirement within the College.

Courses taken to fulfill a Foundational Approach requirement can also be used to fulfill a Sector requirement or a requirement for one's major or minor, according to University guidelines. The guidelines also prevent students from using the same class to satisfy more than one Foundational Approach requirement — meaning that the Writing, Quantitative Data Analysis, Formal Reasoning and Analysis, Cross-Cultural Analysis, Cultural Diversity in the U.S., and Foreign Language requirements each must be satisfied with separate courses.

Use the DP's guide, based on data provided by Path@Penn, to see which classes "double count" before Advanced Registration ends on April 3.
