Just a day before Penn women’s basketball was scheduled for a two-game slate this weekend against Ivy League opponents Cornell and Columbia, both games were postponed due to concerns of COVID-19 in the Quakers and Lions programs. A rescheduled time and location will be determined.
This weekend would have been the Quakers' (6-7) big step into Ivy League play this season, after coming off a big win against Brown this past Sunday. Currently, Penn's next game is scheduled for Jan. 11 at 7 p.m. against Temple in the Palestra. It remains to be seen whether the current status of the game will hold through further COVID-19 concerns.
