An attempted robbery in the 400 block of South University Avenue prompted a UPennAlert Tuesday afternoon.
The suspect is a male in his 20s in a collared shirt, according to the Division of Public Safety's website. He was last seen heading westbound at 39th Street and Baltimore Avenue.
According to the alert emailed at 1:54 p.m., police advise students to avoid the area and use caution.
DPS issued an all-clear at 2:16 p.m. for a return to normal activity. Police and security officers are patrolling the area.
