A robbery with a weapon at the 4300 block of Pine Street prompted a UPennAlert Thursday evening.
The suspects, who are two males about 23 years old, allegedly robbed four Penn graduate students, said Vice President for Public Safety Maureen Rush. The suspects took the students' cell phones among other possessions. One suspect was carrying a handgun.
Both suspects were reportedly wearing black hooded sweatshirts, white tee shirts, and blue jeans, according to the alert sent at 7:53 p.m. The suspects were last seen heading westbound on Pine Street towards 44th Street.
The Division of Public Safety issued an all-clear at 8:20 p.m. Police and security officers are still patrolling the area.
