An indecent assault was reported on 38th and Woodland Walk at 8:30 p.m., according to a UPennAlert sent out this evening.
The suspect, who is reported as a 5'4" 30 to 40-year-old male, allegedly approached the complainant and indecently touched the complainant’s buttocks. He was seen wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt and light faded jeans.
Kathleen Shields Anderson, Director of Operations & External Affairs stated in an email to The Daily Pennsylvanian that three separate complaints were made, and after the assault the suspect fled the scene.
The Division of Public Safety recommends to avoid the area, and use caution, as the suspect was last seen northbound on 38th Street towards Spruce Street.
There were no physical injuries to any of the complainants, and Penn Police, as well as AlliedBarton Security and Philadelphia Police has increased patrols in the area.
All all-clear alert was issued at 8:56 p.m.
