Burglary:
Jan. 12: At around 4:00 a.m., a person reported a burglary from the unit block of 42nd Street. According to the report, upon returning to their home, they discovered that an unknown person had broken in and stolen some of their personal items.
Jan. 12: At 4:59 a.m., employees of Sangkee Noodle House, located at 35th and Chestnut streets, arrived and discovered a burglary had occurred in the restaurant. No arrest has been made at this time.
Fraud:
Jan. 15: At 3957 Baltimore Ave. around 8:00 p.m., a male discovered his wallet was missing. He then discovered his credit card being used to make purchases.
Assault:
Jan. 15: At 8:30 p.m., near the intersection of 43rd and Walnut streets, a male reported that an unknown male solicited him for money. The unknown male then became aggressive and attempted to grab his pocket. This led to a physical altercation, then the unknown male ran away. The altercation resulted in minor injuries to the victim.
Disorderly Conduct:
Jan. 16: On the 100 block of S. 40th Street, at around 9:40 a.m., a 26-year-old male was stopped for investigation for a prior retail theft. He then proceeded to run from police officers. The male, now identified as John Farma, was then apprehended and arrested.
Theft:
Jan. 11: A theft was reported from The HUB at 39th and Chestnut streets with losses totaling more than $200.
Jan. 15: A theft was reported at the World Cafe at 30th and Walnut streets with a loss more than $200.
Jan. 15: A theft was reported at Kings Court English House. Losses were reported being more than $200.
Jan. 17: Losses totaling between $50-$200 were reported from The HUB.
Jan. 17: A theft was reported from a vehicle near 42nd Street and Osage Avenue. Losses were no more than $50.
