An unarmed robbery was reported in the area of 3401 Spruce St. on Wednesday night. The initial UPennAlert was sent at approximately 8:30 p.m.
The robbery occurred at the intersection of 34th and Spruce streets near Irvine Auditorium and the main entrance to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.
The Division of Public Safety website described the perpetrators as three juvenile males approximately 17 years of age, with a dark complexion. The suspects have not yet been apprehended and were last seen heading north on 34th Street.
A subsequent "all clear" UPennAlert was sent roughly approximately 15 minutes later at 8:45 on Wednesday. The Penn Police website noted that additional police and campus private security are patrolling the area.
