A man died in North Philadelphia after he tried to jump onto a SEPTA train early Saturday morning, Philly Voice reported.
The incident occurred around 1:30 a.m. at the Olney Transportation Center, when the man tried to jump on the Broad Street Line train but fell. SEPTA spokesperson Kristen Geiger told the Philly Voice that he died from his injuries.
Passengers were offered shuttle bus services between Erie and Fern Rock stations. Normal SEPTA operations resumed at 4:30 a.m.
An officer at the Philadelphia Police Department's Accident Investigation Team told Philly Voice that as of 11 a.m., there was no new information regarding the incident.
