We just put out our Women's Hoops Issue to get you ready for the upcoming season. Make sure to pick up your copy on newsstands now! The Quakers are the defending Ivy League champions and will have a new look to them beginning on Nov. 14 at Tennessee.
1. After an awesome freshman year, Sydney Stipanovich is ready to go above and beyond.
2. Supporting Sydney is a group of senior captains that each bring something new to the table.
3. It won't just be the seniors that are leading the charge: The underclassmen, particularly the freshman class, will be taking on some big roles in the early going.
4. That early going? It will be a tough schedule for the Quakers, starting with the No. 4 Lady Volunteers and ending with Ivy rival Princeton.
5. Despite that tough schedule, Penn is expected to compete for an Ivy title and will compete with Princeton, Harvard and others for that crown.
6. To the Red and Blue, that tough schedule means nothing. Penn is ready to ride out the early schedule with the same 'Win the day' mentality that coach Mike McLaughlin always preaches.
