Terroristic Threats:
July 28, 2014: A 25-year-old affiliated female reported at 9 a.m. that a man she was treating for injuries at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania threatened to kill and break her neck.
Fraud:
July 30, 2014: A 24-year-old unaffiliated male reported being approached by a person on the 4100 block of Spruce Street around 2:30 p.m. and being deceived into giving the suspect $1,000 from his bank account.
July 31, 2014: A 45-year-old unaffiliated male reported fraudulent processing of returns on merchandise around 11:00 a.m. at the Penn Bookstore.
Other Offense:
July 30, 2014: A 32-year-old unaffiliated male was arrested for an outstanding warrant on the 200 block of S. 34th Street at 4:00 a.m. after police stopped him in a bike theft investigation.
Vandalism:
July 25, 2014: A 47-year-old unaffiliated female reported at 12:00 p.m. that a person she knew had scratched her vehicle with a sharp object on the 4100 block of Spruce Street.
July 28, 2014: A 46-year-old unaffiliated male reported around 9:30 a.m. that a person punched his vehicle following an argument, causing a dent in the passenger side rear door at the Consortium on 451 University Ave.
Assault:
July 26, 2014: A 26-year-old unaffiliated male reported that a male customer at McDonalds on 3935 Walnut St. around 6:00 p.m. threw hot water on his legs. The incident occurred after the 26-year-old male did not provide the customer with sugar packets he requested since the customer was not making a purchase.
