PUBLIC URINATION:
Sept. 26, 2013: An affiliated 21-year-old male was found urinating in the soda aisle of Fresh Grocer, 4001 Walnut St. at 2:00 a.m. Store security notified the nearby officers, and the man received a citation.
OTHER OFFENSE:
Sept. 24, 2013: A 74-year-old unaffiliated male was selling loose cigarettes at the intersection of 40th and Market streets at 7:30 a.m. He received a citation.
BICYCLE THEFT:
Sept. 25, 2013: A 20-year-old unaffiliated male reported his cable-locked bike missing from the bike rack on the 3700 block of Hamilton Walk at 12:45 a.m. He stated that he may not have secured the bike properly.
THEFT FROM BUILDING:
Sept. 23, 2013: A 19-year-old affiliated female reported that her unattended cell phone was taken from a table in the hallway of the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, 3400 Spruce St., at 2:00 a.m.
Sept. 23, 2013: A 58-year-old unaffiliated male reported that his cell phone was taken from a container at 10:15 a.m. while he went through the entrance checkpoint at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.
Sept. 23, 2013: A 29-year-old unaffiliated male reported leaving his unattended cell phone connected to his laptop computer on a table in Saxby’s Coffee House at 240 S. 40th St. at 5:30 p.m. When he returned to the table, his cell phone was missing. When he returned to the table, his cell phone was missing.
OTHER THEFT:
Sept. 21, 2013: A 25-year-old affiliated female reported that an unknown suspect took her iPhone while riding by on a bike on the 3200 block of Market Street at 1:30 p.m.
Sept. 21, 2013: An unaffiliated female reported that an unknown suspect at the Starbucks on 3421 Chestnut St. took her wallet without her knowledge at 9:00 a.m.
THEFT FROM VEHICLE:
Sept. 21, 2013: An unaffiliated 31-year-old female reported that her laptop was removed from her vehicle.
