Nursing Class Chair is a social responsibility to be a well-informed and socially conscious advocate for my diligent nursing peers. My passion and appreciation for nursing and the nurses who strive to uphold the impressive standards of the study, combined with my enthusiasm and school spirit are well-suited for the position. As a dual enrolled nursing student, I have already experienced first-hand the significance of our title in the larger social context of Penn and how it can be strengthened by breaking through present social barriers. I also recognize the need to strengthen our class pride to make sure that as the smallest school, our voices are powerful in the Penn community, even after we graduate. As Nursing Class Chair I will strive to enhance each student’s academic career through ideas formed by our entire community, increasing our class unity and pride within nursing and the larger context of Penn.
