Robbery:

5/5/2013: An affiliated 21-year-old male was approached by a male suspect with a hand in his pocket on the 4000 block of Locust Street at 10:15 p.m. The suspect stated he had a gun in his pocket and demanded the man’s cell phone.

5/6/2013: An unaffiliated 27-year-old male was approached by three suspects on the first block of S. 40th Street at 2:15 a.m. One suspect punched the male in the face, while the other two took his backpack and kicked him while he was on the ground.

Robbery with a Gun:

5/9/2013: An unaffiliated 28-year-old male was approached by two suspects on the 4200 block of Ludlow Street at 9 p.m. One suspect pulled out a gun, and both demanded the suspect’s phone. The suspects obtained the phone and fled in a vehicle. The driver of the vehicle, and one of the suspects were arrested shortly thereafter.

Aggravated Assault:

5/6/2013: A domestic incident occurred at Wawa at 3744 Spruce St. at approximately 11 p.m.

Assault:

5/9/2013: An unaffiliated 26-year-old male suspect kicked a University of Pennsylvania Police Department officer in the chest while resisting arrest for retail and auto thefts at about 1:45 p.m. The suspect was arrested.

5/6/2013: An unaffiliated 18-year-old female reported that an unknown suspect spit in her face and threatened to shoot her during a verbal altercation at 7:30 p.m. The suspect fled before police arrived.

Vandalism:

5/6/2013: An unknown person drew graffiti on University of Pennsylvania Police Department property at about 8:30 a.m.

Narcotic:

5/7/2013: Police observed a suspect hiding a pill bottle on his person at the intersection of 40th and Market streets at about 7 p.m. When police investigated, they found the pills to be illegal narcotics, and the suspect was arrested.

Public Urination:

5/3/2013: An unaffiliated 25-year-old male was observed by police urinating on the sidewalk at 36th and Chestnut streets at about 2:15 a.m. He was subsequently arrested.

Prohibited Offensive Weapon:

5/4/2013: An unaffiliated 21-year-old female was observed with a taser while fighting with her boyfriend at the intersection of 42nd and Pine streets at about 3:45 p.m. She was subsequently arrested.

Open Container:

5/5/2013: Two suspects were observed crossing the 3900 block of Spruce Street while holding and drinking from an open container of alcohol at about 7:30 p.m. Both suspects were cited.

Public Drunkenness:

5/4/2013: An unaffiliated 40-year-old male was observed with his pants pulled down on the 200 block of S. 40th St. at about 10 p.m. He was screaming and causing a disturbance, and subsequently arrested by police.

Escape:

5/9/2013: An offender, already under arrest for other incidents, attempted to flee while being treated at Presbyterian Hospital while under guard. The offender was arrested.

Bike Theft:

5/3/2013: A bike theft occurred on the 4200 block of Spruce Street at 3 a.m.

5/6/2013: A bike theft occurred from Huntsman Hall at 4 p.m.

Theft from Building:

5/3/2013: A theft occurred from the Quadrangle at about 12:45 p.m.

5/3/2013: A theft occurred from the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania at 3 a.m.

5/4/2013: A theft occurred from the 4000 block of Spruce Street at about 11:15 p.m.

5/5/2013: A theft occurred from the University City Sheraton at about 9:15 a.m.

5/5/2013: A theft occurred from Wawa at 3744 Spruce St. at 8:45 a.m.

5/7/2013: A theft occurred from the Quadrangle at 9 a.m.

Retail Theft:

5/9/2013: A suspect was arrested in connection with a theft from American Apparel at about 1:30 p.m.

Auto Theft:

5/9/2013: A suspect was arrested in connection to an vehicle theft on the 3600 block of Walnut Street at about 1:30 p.m.

Theft, All Other:

5/7/2013: A suspect was arrested in connection with a theft from the 3700 block of Spruce St. at 1:45 p.m.

5/7/2013: A suspect was arrested in connection with a theft from the 3800 block of Walnut St. at about 7:30 p.m.
