Theft:
On or around campus between Nov. 15 and Nov. 20, there were seven thefts from buildings, which resulted in two arrests. There was also one case of retail theft that resulted in one arrest and one bike theft that resulted in two arrests.

Assault:
Nov. 20 — A 35-year-old unaffiliated male reported that he and a 32-year-old female suspect of the 300 block of North York Road got into an argument over their child at the intersection of 4000 Locust Walk at around 11:30 a.m. The female suspect threatened the male with a gun, and then he waved down a police vehicle and explained the situation. The female suspect was subsequently arrested.

Nov. 19 — A 44-year-old unaffiliated male who is a security officer at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia at 3401 Civic Center Blvd. reported that he and other officers were attempting to escort a 19-year-old unaffiliated female of the 3000 block of North Swanson Street from the hospital when the suspect spit in the officer’s face at around 9:40 p.m. The suspect was subsequently arrested.

Robbery:
Nov. 19 — A 21-year-old male student was walking on 41st Street when he was attacked by an unknown suspect. The suspect kicked and punched him then took his wallet and cell phone at the 300 block of South 41st Street at around 6:15 p.m.

Nov. 16 – A 22-year-old unaffiliated male reported that while walking eastbound on Walnut Street he was pushed to the ground and beaten up. The unknown suspects took the victim’s backpack and fled in an unknown four-door vehicle at the 3100 block of Walnut Street at around 3:40 a.m.

Vandalism:
Nov. 19 — A 53-year-old unaffiliated male reported an unknown person damaged the roof of his 1998 Nissan at the intersection of 40th and Sansom Streets at around 8:30 a.m.

Other Offense:
Nov. 19 — A 21-year-old unaffiliated female of the 2500 block of South Memassey Street was involved in a disturbance in the emergency room of the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania at around 3:20 p.m. Upon being removed from the hospital, it was discovered that she had a warrant out for her arrest. She was subsequently arrested.

Nov. 16 — A 46-year-old unaffiliated male of the 200 block of Beverly Boulevard came into the Furness Building in the Duhring Wing at 220 S. 34th St. and stated to the AlliedBarton Security officer that he wanted to enter the building. The suspect was not allowed to enter Penn buildings, and after being told several times by Penn Police to leave, he refused and was arrested at around 1:50 p.m.

Harassment:
Nov. 18 — A 22-year-old female student reported that she received harassing phone calls from a known suspect on her cell phone at the 300 block of South 41st Street at around 9:50 a.m.
