April 16 — Paul Coleman, 33 and of the 800 block of Cypress St., and Sikeem Burwell, 33 and of the 400 block of N. 8th St., were arrested for allegedly attempting to abduct a child from the ER at CHOP at around 11:00 p.m.
April 19 — An open inspection for minors was conducted where 30 minors were cited and released for underage drinking and/or possessing false identification at Copabanana — located at 4000 Spruce St. — at around 1:15 a.m.
Robbery
April 18 — Davita Dash, 26 and of the 3000 block of N. Marvine St., was arrested for allegedly attempting to rob a female and pulling out a gun which was later discovered to be a toy at Horizon House — located at 120 S. 30th St. — at 1:00 p.m.
Theft
April 16 — An 18-year-old male student reported that unknown suspects took his unsecured backpack, but was able to recover his property by approaching the observed offenders inside Commons at around 1:15 p.m.
April 16 — A 46-year-old male employee reported that an unknown suspect entered an unlocked office and removed property from his backpack in the Chemistry building — located at 231 S. 34th St. — at around 10:15 a.m.
April 17 — Diondre Bennett, 21 and of the 1500 block of Hemberger Way, and a 16-year-old female were arrested for allegedly removing property without paying at American Apparel — located at 3661 Walnut St. — at 5:15 p.m.
April 18 — An 18-year-old male student reported that his unattended and unsecured laptop was taken by an unknown suspect at Houston Hall at around 9:45 p.m.
April 18 — A 29-year-old male reported that his property was taken from an unsecured room at Cosi — located at 140 S. 36th St. — at around 5:45 p.m.
April 18 — An 18-year-old male student reported that his unattended backpack was taken by an unknown suspect at Houston Hall at around 4:15 p.m.
April 18 — A 22-year-old female student reported her iPhone was taken from her room during a scheduled building maintenance period at the Radian at around 1:00 p.m.
April 19 — Raquel Johnson, 18 and of the 700 block of N. 36th St., and Sharifa Williams, 18 and of the 4000 block of Ogden St., were arrested for allegedly attempting to leave without paying at Urban Outfitters — located at 110 S. 36th St. — at around 3:15 p.m.
April 19 — A 27-year-old female reported her wallet and its contents were taken from her unsecured bag hanging on the back of her chair at Qdoba — located at 230 S. 40th St. — at around 3:00 p.m.
April 19 — Raquel Johnson, 18 and of the 700 block of N. 36th St., and Sharifa Williams, 18 and of the 4000 block of Ogden St., were arrested for allegedly placing items in a bag and leaving without paying at Philly Runner — located at 3629 Walnut St. — at around 3:00 p.m.
April 19 — A 23-year-old female reported that property was taken from her unsecured car at the 100 block of S. 36th St. at around 1:30 p.m.
April 20 — A female reported that an unknown suspect took her wallet and its contents when she left it unsecured and unattended on the counter of Cavanaugh’s — located at 119 S. 39th St. — at 5:30 p.m.
April 20 — A 26-year-old female student reported that an unknown suspect took her unattended and unsecured computer from Penn Law Library — located at 3501 Sansom St. — at around 12:30 p.m.
April 20 — Lawrence McKnight, 27 and of the 2600 block of S. 6th St., was arrested for allegedly stealing the bike of a 25-year-old male employee at the James D. Dunning Jr. Coaches Center — located at 231 S. 33rd St. — at around 9:45 a.m.
