Not only did Penn fail to notify students who signed up for Professor Henry Teune’s class that he had passed away, but Teune is still listed as an active faculty member on the Political Science department’s website.
Looks like not much has changed since I got screwed out of a semester’s tuition when the College of Arts and Sciences changed its requirements over the summer of 1969 — and did not tell students.
I returned to campus for one last term, enrolled and paid and then was told I had already completed all the requirements for my Bachelor of Arts degree.
