Most of us love Penn, but it isn’t perfect. While most of us are still on the high of getting in, we’ve all been bothered by the dining hall hours, those hidden text book fees we didn’t find out about until after registration, and the personal nuances we have all encountered. Now, is it possible that Penn’ 15 was the first class to have these issues? I don’t think so. What the UA needs is direct student involvement. I propose that we administer polls throughout the semester to see what exactly you are having an issue with. The UA has the power to fix things, and the body has made much progress. But are we really working on the things that need to get done? Let Aman Gupta, Louis Markham, Philip Fuchs, and Katherine Mateo work on some real issues. Wake up, Penn.
