Theft

April 14 — A female University employee, 35, reported that cash was stolen from her secured office in the Towne Building at about about 1:45 p.m.

April 14 — A male University employee, 23, reported that an unknown suspect removed property from his locker at the Penn Presbyterian Medical Center at about 12:30 a.m.

April 13 — A male student, 22, reported that an unknown suspect removed his unattended laptop from Van Pelt Library at about 8:45 p.m.

April 13 — A female student, 22, reported that someone removed cash left in plain view from her secured vehicle on the 100 block of S. 41st Street at about 6:15 p.m.

April 13 — A female student, 23, reported that an unknown suspect took her unattended backpack on the 200 block of S. 38th Street at about 3:30 p.m.

April 13 — Several secured vehicles were discovered to have property, left in plain view, removed by someone on the 4000 block of Delancey Street at about 7:00 a.m.

April 12 — Cash was reportedly removed from a secured desk at 3535 Market St. at about 10:45 p.m.

April 12 — Jermaine Kamara, 22, unaffiliated with the University and of the 700 block of N. 40th Street, was arrested for allegedly taking a female student’s cell phone on the 4000 block of Pine Street at about 10:30 p.m.

April 12 — A male student reported that his unattended laptop was removed by an unknown suspect from Van Pelt Library at about 9:45 p.m.

April 12 — A female student, 22, reported that someone removed her unattended bag from the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania at about 7:00 p.m.

April 12 — A male student, 24, reported that someone removed his bicycle, secured with a cable lock, from the 3400 block of Walnut Street at about 1:30 a.m.

April 11 — Evette Prince, 18, unaffiliated with the University and of 235 E. Rockland St., was arrested for allegedly removing merchandise from Urban Outfitters at 36th and Sansom streets without paying at about 9:00 p.m.

April 10 — A female student, 21, reported that an unknown suspect removed a building sign from the 1300 block of S. 39th Street at about 9:15 p.m.

April 10 — A female student, 20, reported that an unknown suspect removed her wallet from her purse on the 4000 block of Chestnut Street at about 3:30 p.m.

April 9 — A man unaffiliated with the University, 36, reported that an unknown suspect entered his secured vehicle and removed a phone left in plain view on the 4000 block of Pine Street at about 9:15 p.m.

April 9 — A woman unaffiliated with the University, 21, reported that an unknown suspect removed her unattended cash from HUP at about 6:00 p.m.

April 8 — A female student, 31, reported that her unattended laptop was removed by someone from Van Pelt Library at about 1:15 p.m.

Burglary

April 14 — A male student, 19, reported that an unknown suspect removed property from his unsecured residence on the Unit block of S. 36th Street at about 3:30 p.m.

April 14 — A female student, 21, reported that an unknown suspect entered her residence, located on the 200 block of S. 41st Street, and removed a laptop at about 1:15 p.m.

April 8 — A man unaffiliated with the University, 24, reported that an unknown suspect removed property from his residence, located on the 4000 block of Ludlow Street, at about 9:30 p.m.

Robbery

April 9 — A male University employee, 27, reported that he was approached by an unknown suspect on a side street on April 8. The suspect displayed a hand gun, took money from the complainant, then subsequently fled the area, the 300 block of S. 36th Street, at about 12:30 p.m.

Narcotics

April 11 — Sean King, 28, unaffiliated with the University and of the 5900 block of Cobbs Creek Parkway, and David Miller, 28 and unaffiliated with the University, were arrested for possession of narcotics on the 3800 block of Spruce Street at about 10:30 p.m.

Assault

April 10 — A man unaffiliated with the University, 22, reported that he was assaulted by a known suspect on the 200 block of S. 40th Street at about 3:00 a.m.

Vandalism

April 8 — A male University employee, 58, reported that an unknown suspect vandalized his vehicle on the 100 block of S. 38th Street at about 11:15 a.m.
