After releasing a public safety alert concerning a case of public indecency in the Law School on Friday, the Division of Public Safety apprehended and questioned the suspect Saturday.
According to the alert, the suspect — described as an “African American male with a medium brown complexion, clean shaven, between 18-22 years old, approximately 6’0”, thin build, wearing an emerald green hooded sweatshirt with a band aid under his right eye” — exposed himself to a female student in Penn Law last Wednesday, Dec. 1.
The suspect was later arrested by the Philadelphia Police Special Victims Unit, arraigned and released.
According to a public safety update, DPS “has requested a stay away order be lodged in this case preventing the defendant from entering any part of our campus.”
No injuries were reported.
