A man fell from the third floor of the D building of Hamilton Court at 101 S. 39th Street around 12 a.m. on Saturday, according to student reports.
He is a Drexel University student, according to Kevin Rurak, executive assistant to the Vice President for Public Safety Maureen Rush. Rurak declined to comment further, since the incident is being handled by the Drexel University Department of Public Safety.
A resident of the building wrote in an e-mail that she heard “a scream and then smack” when the man fell. She also wrote there was “a pool of blood” outside the building door after the incident occurred.
The Drexel University DPS declined to comment on the incident or the student's condition.
