Democrat Dan Onorato conceded to Republican Tom Corbett in Pennsylvania’s gubernatorial race just after 10:30 p.m. Tuesday.
“I called Tom Corbett and congratulated him. I'm one of the luckiest guys in the world,” Onorato said to a crowd of supporters in Pittsburgh. “It's been a great road.”
Onorato will go back to Allegheny County, where he is county executive.
He thanked his volunteers and family.
“We fought the battle. We came up a little short today, but our voice was heard,” he said.
