Nov. 16 — Around 12:30 a.m., a fire was reported at Zeta Beta Tau Fraternity on the 200 block of S. 39th Street and subsequently extinguished. Philadelphia Fire Department’s Fire Marshall declared the fire incendiary in nature. No injuries were reported.
Burglary
Nov. 14 — A male student, 20, reported at about 1:30 p.m. that someone entered his residence on the 4000 block of Spruce Street and removed property.
Theft Nov. 18 — A female University employee, 47, reported at about 9:45 a.m. that someone took cash from an unsecured drawer in Student Health Services, at 3535 Market St.
Nov. 17 — A male University employee, 30, reported at about 6:15 p.m. that someone entered his secured vehicle and removed items, left in plain view, on the 400 block of S. 41st Street.
Nov. 17 — A female student, 23, reported at about 2:30 p.m. that someone removed her unattended personal items from the Chemistry building.
Nov. 17 — A male student, 21, reported at 1:15 p.m. that someone entered his secured vehicle and removed items, left in plain view, on the 4000 block of Chancellor Street.
Nov. 17 — A male student, 20, reported at about 12:30 a.m. that someone removed his bicycle on the 3600 block of Chestnut Street.
Nov. 16 — A male student, 24, reported at about 6:30 p.m. that someone took his bicycle near Towne Building.
Nov. 15 — A male student, 37, reported at about 9:15 p.m. that someone took his bicycle from the 3300 block of Walnut Street.
Nov. 15 — A woman unaffiliated with the University, 30, reported at about 8:30 p.m. that someone took her bicycle that was secured with a cable lock on the 300 block of S. 33rd Street.
Nov. 15 — At 3:45 p.m., unattended backpacks belonging to a male student, 28, and a man unaffiliated with the University, 34, were reported taken on the 3900 block of Locust Walk.
Nov. 15 — A woman unaffiliated with the University, 43, reported at about 3:30 p.m. that someone removed her unattended wallet from her unsecured office in the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.
Nov. 15 — A male student, 30, reported at about 2 p.m. that someone took his bicycle that was secured with a cable lock in Penn Parking Lot 5, at 299 S. 33rd St.
Nov. 15 — At about 10 a.m., someone was reported to have left the AT&T; store at 3741 Walnut St. without paying for merchandise.
Nov. 14 — A female student, 20, reported at about 2:30 p.m. that someone removed her laptop from her unattended bag on the 3600 block of Locust Walk.
Nov. 13 — A female student, 18, reported at about 5:30 p.m. that someone removed property from her unsecured locker on the 3400 block of Sansom Street.
Nov. 12 — A woman unaffiliated with the University, 75, reported at about 2:00 p.m. that her wallet was taken from her unattended bag at HUP.
Nov. 12 — A male student, 20, reported at about 1:30 p.m. that someone took his unattended laptop on the 200 block of S. 39th Street.
Nov. 12 — A female University employee, 28, reported at about 11:30 a.m. that someone took her bicycle from the Chemistry building.
Fraud
Nov. 15 — At about 8 p.m., someone was reported to have made a fraudulent transaction at Radio Shack, at 212 S. 40th St.
