He may be coming a day after April Fool’s, but comedian Kevin Hart’s presence at Penn is no joke.
Hart will headline the Social Planning and Events Committee to Represent Undergraduate Minorities’ Spring Comedy Show on Friday, April 2 at 7:00 p.m. in Irvine Auditorium.
The Philadelphia native, who made his debut in a local comedy club, has since “evolved into one of comedy’s biggest, most hilarious, most up-and-coming funnymen,” SPEC-TRUM Co-Director and College senior Brittany Minor said.
Hart has appeared in the movie Meet Dave alongside Eddie Murphy. He is also a cast member of Comedy Central’s Krod Mandoon and the Flaming Sword of Fire, in which he plays a second-rate magician.
Fellow Co-Director and College junior Ferrell Townsend wrote in a press release that “Kevin will definitely make you laugh, even if you don’t know who he is.”
Tickets can currently be purchased online at specevents.net. Physical tickets will go on sale on March 22 on Locust Walk. PennCard holders pay $10, while tickets for the general public and those sold at the door are $15.
