Burglary

Feb. 25 — Kenneth Long, 34, unaffiliated with the University and of the 4900 block of Locust Street, was arrested at about 3:45 p.m. for allegedly taking a laptop from a male student’s residence on the 4000 block of Pine Street.

Fraud

Feb. 25 — A female student, 25, reported at about 1:45 p.m. that an unknown suspect made fraudulent charges on her credit card at various locations from Wawa, located at 3604 Chestnut St.

Theft

Feb. 25 — A female student, 22, reported at about 1:15 p.m. that someone removed her wallet from her unattended bag at Moravian Court, located at 3400 Moravian St.

Feb. 25 — A female student, 27, reported at about 7:30 p.m. that an unknown suspect attempted to remove her unattended laptop from David Rittenhouse Laboratories.

Feb. 24 — A student reported at about 10:30 p.m. that an unknown suspect removed his unattended backpack from Hillel.

Feb. 23 — Ralph Echevarria, 30, unaffiliated with the University and of the 3800 block of Waylusing Avenue, was arrested at about 11:30 a.m. at the Penn Bookstore, located at 3601 Walnut St., for allegedly attempting to remove items without rendering payment.

Feb. 22 — A female unaffiliated with the University, 40, reported at about 8:30 p.m. that someone took her purse while she was walking on the 4000 block of Spruce Street.

Feb. 21 — A male student, 22, reported at about 2 p.m. that an unknown suspect removed his unattended laptop at Duhring Wing, located at 220 S. 34th St.

Feb. 21 — A female unaffiliated with the University, 19, reported at 5:45 p.m. that someone removed her unattended laptop and wallet from Houston Hall.

Feb. 20 — A female unaffiliated with the University, 20, reported at about 3:45 p.m. that an unknown suspect removed her unattended cell phone at a restaurant on the 3700 block of Spruce Street.

Feb. 20 — Clinton Fleming, 38, unaffiliated with the University and of the 2600 block of Dickerson Avenue, was arrested at 4 p.m. for allegedly removing the wallet of a female student, 20, at the Penn Bookstore.

Feb. 20 — Clinton Fleming, 38, unaffiliated with the University and of the 2600 block of Dickerson Avenue, was arrested at about 5 p.m. for allegedly removing the wallet of a female unaffiliated with the University, 21, at Bubble House, located at 3404 Sansom St.

Feb. 20 — A female student, 19, reported at 9:45 p.m. that an unknown suspect removed her unattended laptop at Van Pelt Library.

Sex Offense

Feb. 23 — A confidential offense was reported at about 4:45 p.m. on the 3900 block of Chestnut Street.
