Theft
Nov. 9 - A male employee reported that a laptop was taken at about 3:45 p.m. from an unsecured office at the McNeil Building, located at 3718 Locust Walk.
Nov. 9 - A male student reported that at about 5:30 p.m., an unknown suspect removed his bike, secured with a cable lock, from Huntsman Hall, located at 3730 Spruce St.
Nov. 9 - Two female students reported that at about 6:30 p.m., an unknown suspect took their wallets from their unattended bags from under their seats at the Bridge: Cinema de Lux, located at 4012 Walnut St.
Nov. 8 - A female student reported that she left her wallet unattended in a jacket within her cubicle at the Vagelos Research Lab, located at 3340 Smith Walk. When she returned at about 12:50 a.m., it had been taken by an unknown suspect.
Nov. 8 - A male student reported that at about 10:20 p.m., his bicycle at the Psychology Lab at 3720 Walnut St., secured with a cable lock, was taken by an unknown suspect.
Nov. 8 - A female employee at Hill Pavilion, located at 3800 Spruce St., reported that at about 8:35 a.m., an unknown suspect removed items from an unsecured office.
Burglary
Nov. 7 - A male student reported that at about 3:05 p.m., an unknown suspect entered his residence on the 4000 block of Pine Street and removed a laptop and several iPods from the residence.
Nov. 6 - A male employee reported that at about 8:00 a.m. at the Restaurant School at Walnut Hill College, located at 4207 Walnut St., an unknown suspect broke in through a window in the basement and removed an LCD television.
Assault
Nov. 9 - At about 1:35 a.m., Penn police arrested Louis Gibson, 31, of Hammonton, N.J., and Franklin Harmon, 24, of the 3500 block of Island Ave., after they allegedly threatened a parking attendant working inside Garage 40, located at 40th and Walnut streets. Gibson allegedly threatened the attendant with a gun, and a gun was later found in his car.
Nov. 9 - A male unaffiliated with the University reported that he was punched in the face and head by another male. Sylvester Thompson, 46, of the 4100 block of Chestnut Street, was arrested, and the victim was subsequently transported to a local hospital and treated.
