On Monday, a DP editorial called on officials overseeing 3900-block construction to use all resources possible to keep students informed about their progress.
Early that morning, the Facilities and Real Estate Services Web site posted a link on their "Current Construction" page about the construction. The page provides basic information about what the final product will look like, as well as who is in charge of construction.
There is also a note that demolition will begin in January and will "be complete in six weeks." FRES spokesman Tony Sorrentino added that an architect's rendering of what the site will look like is to be posted soon.
The post states that construction will finish by August 2008. FRES should continue to make communication about the state of the construction a priority, and use this site to its fullest potential.
