Trespassing and Conduct
Nov. 24 - Carlton Smith, 28 and unaffiliated with the University, was arrested at about 12:05 a.m. when he allegedly attempted to enter an enclosed unit at the 4040 Baltimore St. Gunther Hall Apartments.
Nov. 24 - Andre Soriven, 32 and unaffiliated with the University, was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct when a student complained that Soriven was disturbing residents of Sansom Place East.
Nov. 26 - Pierre Norwood, 47 and unaffiliated with the University, was arrested for defiant trespassing at The Fresh Grocer. At about 2:05 a.m., a member of the store personnel reported that Norwood did not have permission to be in the store.
Robbery
Nov. 21 - A person unaffiliated with the University reported that a man robbed her of $3, credit cards and assorted other possessions at point of a screwdriver at about 10:10 p.m. The man fled on foot from the scene at the 3700 block of Sansom Street. No arrests have been made.
Nov. 21 - A member of the University's staff reported that she was robbed of $60 by a man who approached her with a screwdriver at 6:40 a.m. The suspect again fled on foot from 3900 Pine St.
Nov. 24 - Theodore Camp, 31 and unaffiliated with the University, was arrested at 9:10 p.m. for allegedly robbing a person on 43rd Street. The victim, who is unaffiliated with the University, reported being approached by two men, but Camp, allegedly the driver of a getaway vehicle, was the only one arrested.
Nov. 25 - A student reported that she was approached at about 4:45 a.m. on 3600 Walnut St. by a person who demanded money from her. The student refused to comply and kicked the would-be robber in the leg, causing the person to flee by car. At about 4:50 a.m., at 3900 Irving St., another student reported that someone, believed to be the same person, snatched her purse. Tanisha Hodges, 20, and alleged vehicle driver Derek Alexander, 31 - both unaffiliated with the University - were arrested at 38th and Walnut streets in connection with the crimes.
Theft
Nov. 22 - A student reported that an unknown person had removed her credit card from her wallet while she was dining at Qdoba on Nov. 18 at 1 a.m. The student's credit cards have been charged for $400 since they were stolen.
Nov. 26 - A man, unaffiliated with the University, reported that his white Ford Crown Victoria Crescent Cab was stolen at about 4:45 a.m. when it was left with the engine running outside of 7-11.
Nov. 26 - A man, unaffiliated with the University, reported that his bicycle was taken from his 4200 Osage Ave. residence at about 5:50 a.m. The bike was recovered when the offender saw the police and fled, leaving the bike behind.
Burglary
Nov. 22 - Jamall Edwards, 25 and unaffiliated with the University, was arrested for burglary at 9:07 p.m. at 41st and Pine streets. The victim, who also had no affiliation with the University, said he observed Edwards attempting to enter the back door of an apartment on S. 43rd Street.
