Princeton QB Jeff Terrell will look to help uphold the Tigers' top-25 ranking this week against defending Ivy League champion Brown.

Tonight, the Princeton high-school football team will be away at Ewing, and the Hun School travels to Blair Academy.

But that doesn't mean there will be no football played under the lights in Princeton tonight.

Brown (1-3, 0-1 Ivy) at (24) Princeton (4-0, 1-0)

In the first Friday night game in Ivy League history, the Tigers put their undefeated record on the line against the defending conference champions.

Princeton comes into a game ranked for the first time since 1993, and a win No. 5 will likely come down to the passing game.

The Tigers will be relying on the arm of Jeff Terrell, who has thrown for 900 yards in four games - good for second in the Ivy League.

Second only to Bears quarterback Joe DiGiacomo, who is far ahead of the field with 1,089 yards through the air, an average of 272.3 per game.

The showdown, which will likely have serious title implications, was moved to tonight to accommodate ESPNU. The last time an Ivy game has been played on a day other than Saturday was a Dartmouth-Yale game on a Sunday during Yale's tercentennial celebration in 2001.

Lafayette (2-3) at

(15) Harvard (4-0)

As the Ivy League's other undefeated team looks to stay perfect, Lafayette is searching desperately for a win.

The Leopards were riding high at 2-0 and ranked No. 22 in the country until they began their stretch of four straight Ivy opponents. Now, after losses to Penn, Princeton and Yale, they look to salvage a game against the team that's arguably the best of all of those.

The Crimson comes into the game fifth in the nation in total offense, averaging 429.5 yards per game.

Lehigh (2-3) at

Yale (3-1)

Don't let Yale's 12-5 edge in the all-time series fool you.

The Elis won the all 12 meetings in the first 100 years, spanning from 1890-1989. But Lehigh has won all five since.

This one could come down to a battle on the ground. Yale's Mike McLeod, sixth in the nation with 134.3 rushing yards per game, takes on Lehigh's Marques Thompson, who rushed for 122 yards and two touchdown's in last week's win over Georgetown.

The Elis come in hot with three straight wins, all on the road.

Colgate (2-3) at

Cornell (1-3)

Colgate coach Dick Biddle's gutsy move didn't pay off last week when he went for two in overtime against Princeton. But this one might not come down to coaching.

Colgate has won 10 in a row against the Big Red in a rivalry with much wider implications on the ice than on the gridiron.

The Raiders boast a strong offense, which features running back Jordan Scott, who needs just 93 to reach 2,000 career rushing yards halfway through his sophomore season.

Holy Cross (4-2) at

Dartmouth (0-4)

The last winless team in the Ivy League takes on a Crusaders team on a three-game winning streak.

There's always next week against Columbia.
