The Quakers scored their most points in a game since Dec. 18, 1993, beating Lafayette 105-73. Five Penn players scored in double figures, led by Ibrahim Jaaber's 21 points. For full coverage, check out Tuesday's Daily Pennsylvanian.

8:52 p.m. -- GAME OVERThe game ends with the crowd in a good mood. Penn gets its third win in four days, all by more than 30 points. Penn improves to 9-5 on the year, while Lafayette drops to 8-8.

8:49 p.m. The Quakers have gotten the crowd their cheesesteaks. For the record, the momentous barrier was broken on a Brian Grandieri foul shot with 1:54 to play after Grandieri missed a foul shot and two layups with the Quakers at 99. The Palestra is delirious.

8:42 p.m. The anxious Palestra crowd is urging the Leopards to shoot and cheering when they score, desparately trying to will the Quakers to cheesesteaks, which they are now just four points away from.

8:38 p.m. Egee breaks the Penn drought with a three, and Osmundson follows with a layup to get the crowd back into the game.

8:32 p.m. -- Brennan Votel, Kevin Egee, and Tommy McMahon are now in for the Quakers, who need 11 points in eight minutes for what the crowd wants now that a win is mostly assured -- cheesesteaks.

However, Penn has turned the ball over three times in the last minute and has given up five points since the substitutions.

8:30 p.m.-- At the midway point of the second half, the Quakers still have not emptied their bench despite a 30-point lead, and are on pace for 112 points.

O'Hanlon calls a timeout as the Quakers are on a 9-0 run.

8:24 p.m. -- Penn just had a series committing three fouls in 15 seconds, giving the Quakers seven for the half, but the Leopards only scored two points off of that and Penn answered with a Whitehurst layup, a steal and an Ebede three-point play.

8:18 p.m. -- Senior Eric Osmundson hits two straight threes, giving him three on the night, as everyone seems to be shooting well for Penn tonight.

Even Zoller hits a deep three as the shot clock winds down. Maybe he's hungry tonight.

8:13 p.m. -- Lafayette's Everest Schmidt limps off after hurting his left ankle.

Meanwhile, the game has turned back into a shootout, with Penn outscoring Lafayette 16-14 in the first 5:28 of the half.

8:05 p.m. -- Penn continues to shoot well to start the second half, extending the lead from both the outside and inside.

The Leopards have gone to a full-court press, which has worked once in three possessions so far.

HALFTIME STATS -- Penn is shooting 64.7 percent from the field, 4-of-9 from beyond the arc, and 5-of-9 from the free throw line. Lafayette is shooting 52.2 percent from the field, a very strong 7-of-12 from deep and a perfect 3-for-3 from the charity stripe. Jaaber and Mark Zoller lead Penn with 14 and 12 points, respectively, while Andrew Brwon leads the Leopards with nine points, all on threes. Penn has seven steals and has forced 15 turnovers, while allowing only four.

7:48 p.m. (HALFTIME) -- The Quakers end the half strong, and the crowd starts chanting "we want cheesesteaks" as Penn pushes over the half-century mark.

Halftime stats to come.

7:45 p.m. -- The crowd gets really into the game for the first time when Jaaber blocks a shot, runs down court for a baseball pass, and then hands off to Friedrich Ebede for a dunk.

7:43 p.m. -- The pace of the game has slowed a litte, as the Quakers have cooled off. However, their defense is still playing well, and the lead has grown to 17.

7:38 p.m. -- Right now, Penn is on pace for 108 points and has officially seven steals. While the Quakers cannot be happy that they are on pace to give up 73 points, this is one of the better full halves of basketbal the team has played so far this year.

7:36 p.m. -- Penn is now starting to hit layups on nice passes inside because the Leopards are committing to the perimeter to stop the deep shot. When the Quakers hit shots from outside, they are a dangerous offensive team.

7:30 p.m. -- It'll be interesting to see how many steals Penn actually has. Unofficially, it's about nine as the Quakers extend their lead to nine with more stifling defense -- despite the Leopards having a relatively good shooting percentage.

7:27 p.m. -- Leopards coach Fran O'Hanlon seems to have a similar substitution tendency to another former assistant of Penn's Fran Dunphy -- Cornell's Stecve Donahue. While it's not quite the total hockey-style line changes of Cornell, Lafayette is still subbing quite a lot.

7:24 p.m. -- For the record, the Palestra is not very crowded right now. The student section is about 70 percent full, and the corners as well as most of the sections behind the basket by the Penn bench are empty.

7:23 p.m. -- Jaaber is also hot offensively, hitting three three-pointers. However, Bilal Abdullah of Lafayette is also on fire, and the game turned into a shootout for a few minutes here.

7:19 p.m. -- Ibrahim Jaaber cannot be crossed up at midcourt. He will steal the ball every time. Tonight he already has two steals and another near bucket as the Penn defense fuels its 17-3 run to take the lead. However, Penn has already picked up four team fouls, though, something that may be of concern later on. The Leopards shoot 75.4 percent from the line. Lafayette also has four team fouls.

7:14 p.m. -- The Quakers use a 6-0 run with two buckets from David Whitehurst to pull even at the first media timeout.

7:08 p.m. -- Penn starts the game sloppily, as the Leopards hit two threes to take an early lead, prompting a quick 30-second timeout from the Quakers.
