W. Soccer racks up individual honors Though the Penn women's soccer team didn't achieve the team success that it did last year, it still raked in the individual awards, most recently from soccerbuzz.com. After being named Ivy League Player of the year, Penn star sophomore Katy Cross can now add a selection to the second team all-Mid Atlantic region to her extensive list of soccer-laden accomplishments. Cross led the Quakers in scoring for the second year in a row. Joining Cross from Penn on the all Mid Atlantic team are seniors Jen Valentine and freshman Robin Watson. Senior captain Valentine takes her spot on the third team after being honored with a first team all-Ivy selection, having played in all 63 games in her collegiate career. Watson takes her spot on the all-Mid Atlantic freshman squad after playing in all 17 games at defense. The Quakers finished the season in third place in the Ancient Eight and were also awarded NWSCAA/Adidas team award for academic achievement in December. Penn received this award last year too. It honors teams that have a collective GPA above 3.0. --Zachary Silver Penn-Princeton tickets still available The most popular ticket on the Penn schedule just became available. Again. After reporting a sell out, a limited number of tickets were made available yesterday morning for Tuesday night's men's basketball game at the Palestra. The number of tickets available is expected to be between 100 and 200. The Quakers host Princeton in a matchup of unbeaten Ivy teams. The tickets are available because the Tigers were unable to sell out their allotted contingent of seats. The tickets are scattered throughout the Palestra, but some could be near the Tigers' student section. --Andrew DeLaney
