Penn senior Andrew Toole came back strong from his injured ankle -- which caused him to miss Friday night's game against Dartmouth -- leading the Penn men's basketball team to a 75-59 win over Harvard last night. Toole had 21 points and six assists on the night. Tim Begley also contributed with 16 points, including 5-for-5 three point shooting. Harvard used a late first half run to narrow Penn's lead, which had been as large as 13 to six at 32-26 by halftime. The Quakers opened the half with two quick threes by Ugonna Onyekwe and Jeff Schiffner to extend their leadad to 12 at 40-28. The Crimson came back and cut the lead to eight at 56-49, when Penn hit three pointers on three straight possesions -- one each by Koko Archibong, Schiffner and Onyekwe -- to take a commanding 65-51 lead with only four minutes to play. Penn swept its opening weekend of Ivy League play and now stands at 2-0. The Quakers' next game will be against Princeton Feb. 11.
