The Penn men's basketball team won its seventh straight game Friday night, defeating Yale 68-57. The Quakers win combined with Brown's 70-63 win over Princeton sets up a battle of unbeaten Ivy League teams for Saturday night at the Palestra. The Elis (10-10, 4-3 Ivy League) led at the half 34-33, but were largely shut down by Penn (14-5, 6-0) in the second half. At one point Yale went nine minutes without a field goal. Ugonna Onyekwe led Penn with 17 points. Fellow senior forward Koko Archibong appeared to end his slump in the second half last night, scoring seven of his 10 points after the break and playing excellent defense. All five Penn starters scored in double figures in the win. Edwin Draughin scored 13 points for Yale in a losing effort.
