Despite the absence of starting point guard Andrew Toole, the Penn men's basketball team won its Ivy League opener against Dartmouth Friday night, 73-50. David Klatsky, who saw increased playing time with the absence of Toole, Tim Begley and Ugonna Onyekwe each had 14 points to lead the Quakers. Jeff Schiffner chipped in 12 despite a poor shooting day which saw him go 2-for-11 from behind the three point line. After consecutive Dartmouth three-pointers tied the game at 18, Penn scored the final 12 points of the first half - all on three pointers - and was never seriously threatened again.
