A Penn student has been missing since Tuesday morning, according to University officials.
David Dantzler-Wolfe, a Wharton junior, was last seen Dec. 10 at 8 a.m. in Harnwell College House, where he resides.
The card reader at the college house's entrance noted that Dantzler-Wolfe entered the dormitory at 8 a.m. A student noticed him shortly before that. There is no indication as to when Dantzler-Wolfe exited the dormitory, according to Vice President for Public Safety Maureen Rush.
"We're very concerned," Rush said. "It's a long period of time to be missing." The University is working closely with Dantzler-Wolfe's family to locate the missing student.
"This is a tough time of year for students... we're hoping David just took a breather," Rush said.
Dantzler-Wolfe was last seen wearing a red and grey hooded sweatshirt, dark pants, dark shoes or sneakers. He was also wearing a backpack.
Anyone with information regarding Dantzler-Wolfe's whereabouts is encouraged to contact Penn Special Services Department at 215-898-6600. The Department has a 24-hour emergency line.
"We're very hopeful that he's okay," Rush said.
