Commerce Bank was robbed this morning by an unarmed man in the fourth robbery to hit the bank in the past year, University Police officials said.
According to Deputy Chief of Investigations William Danks, the Federal Bureau of Investigation is looking for an African-American man, 6 feet tall, in his late 30s with a heavy build.
The man reportedly approached a teller in the University City branch of Commerce, located at 3731 Walnut St., before 10:50 a.m. with a threatening note. Police said he made off with $3,000.
