Burglary
* Oct. 14 -- A male University student reported that between the hours of 3 p.m. and 7 p.m., an unknown person entered his residence in the Acacia fraternity house, located at 3920 Sansom St. The person entered through a rear, second-floor window and a computer valued at $2,500 and $6 in cash were taken.
Theft
* Oct. 15 -- A man unaffiliated with the University reported that at 9:15 a.m., the passenger side door of his secured vehicle, which was parked at 3200 Convention Ave., was pried open, and a compact disk player valued at $200 was taken.
* Oct. 15 -- Employees in the Urology Department at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, located at 3400 Spruce St., reported that between Oct. 12 at 3 p.m. and Oct. 15 at 9 a.m., some petty cash was taken from the filing cabinets inside of a secured office.
* Oct. 14 -- A female University student reported that at 11 a.m., she secured her bicycle to a metal gate outside of a residence on the 4000 block of Sansom Street. When she returned to the area at 2 p.m., the $600 bike was missing.
* Oct. 12 -- A female University student reported that at around 7 p.m., she secured her laptop computer in a locker inside of the Law School, located at 3400 Chestnut St. When she returned, the $1,200 computer was missing, but there was no sign of forced entry into the locker.
* Oct. 12 -- Two female employees at the Market Street Association, located at 3535 Market St., reported that at around 4:20 p.m., credit cards and a check were taken from their unsecured and unattended purses. The employees reported seeing a suspicious male leaving the office building shortly after the thefts took place.
* Oct. 12 -- A man whose affiliation with the University is unknown reported that he parked his vehicle at 10:50 a.m., on the 4200 block of Sansom Street. When he returned to the vehicle at 11:10 a.m., the passenger side window was broken and a cellular phone valued at $150 was missing.
* Oct. 12 -- A subcontractor working at the Leidy Laboratories, located at 3740 Hamilton Walk, reported that between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 8 a.m., a $1,200 hammer drill was taken from a third-floor construction area.
* Oct. 11 -- A man affiliated with the University reported that he parked his vehicle at 9 a.m., inside of garage 37, located at 3400 Chestnut St. When he returned to the vehicle at around 4 p.m., the driver's side lock had been damaged and a $400 compact disk player was missing.
