The men's basketball managed to stay alive in the race for the Ivy League championship by handling Yale Saturday night in New Haven, 63-38. Lamar Plummer scored 17 points, including five three pointers to lead the Quakers, who also received 16 points from Ugonna Onyekwe in just 20 minutes of action. Plummer's fourth three of the evening set the Penn record for most three pointers in a season. Tom Kritzer led the Elis with seven points, as Penn held dangerous center Neil Yanke to five points on 2-12 shooting. The Quakers' loss to Brown on Friday night, combined with Princeton's sweep of Yale and Brown leaves Penn one game behind the Tigers entering Tuesday night's showdown at Jadwin Gym.
