The Penn sprint football team, coming off a Collegiate Sprint Football League title and its first undefeated season since 1931, handed out its individual awards on Sunday. Tight End Scott Moore, named CSFL Most Valuable Player last month, added another item to his trophy case. Moore was selected as the Quakers' Offensive Back/Receiver of the Year. Other award winners were: Brian Dubin (offensive lineman), Kevin Manning (defensive lineman), John Clarke (defensive back/linebacker), John Pinto and James Donapel (outstanding freshmen), Mark Gannon (most improved player, offense), Stephen Willard (most improved player, defense) and Daniel Rowcotsky (special teams). First team All-CSFL honoree Robert Reeves received the Lt. Charles Schmucker Award for the ideal lightweight football player. Also at the ceremony, Dubin and a trio of second team All-CSFL selections -- David Berkley, Diego Morales and Matt Ragsdale -- were named next year's captains. -- Jason Bodnar
